About The Position

The Supply Chain Operations Project Manager will lead the refresh and update of the Supplier Code of Conduct, ensuring adherence to high standards of ethical conduct, compliance, and sustainability among suppliers. This role involves project management, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and the development of training and communication strategies to effectively implement the updated Code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably in the context of compliance or ethical standards.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, ethical sourcing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a comprehensive project plan to update the Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources required.
  • Manage project budget, track progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts from internal functions, including legal, communications, compliance, procurement, and supply chain teams, to gather input and align on requirements.
  • Engage with internal leaders to ensure that our Code and supplier messaging reflects enterprise goals and objectives.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers and industry experts, to ensure the updated Code reflects best practices and emerging trends.
  • Conduct a thorough review of the existing Supplier Code of Conduct to identify areas for improvement.
  • Research industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure the updated Code meets or exceeds current expectations.
  • Draft and refine updated Code provisions, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
  • Develop and execute a rollout plan for the updated Code of Conduct.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams and suppliers.
  • Develop communication strategies to ensure effective dissemination of the updated Code to all relevant parties.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and present findings to management.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during implementation and adjust strategies as needed.
  • In partnership with the Global Impact Integration Lead (Sourcing), develop, plan, and execute projects aligned to Sourcing's Global Impact Integration strategy.
