About The Position

We’re seeking two driven interns with a strong foundation in supply chain operations to join our team. These roles will directly support our global supply planning and transportation functions. Interns must be enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and must be able to work in-person at JR286 HQ in Torrance, California for 10 weeks. This is a paid internship. What You’ll Do as a Supply Planning Intern: Identify supply risks tied to seasonality, lead times, and forecast accuracy Support planners with data-driven insights for decision-making Improve internal communication regarding NPI/Must Win products Identify inefficiencies in current planning processes to reduce manual work and errors What You’ll Do as a Transportation Intern: Research into customer freight shipping terms and new software/technology solutions for freight approvals Compare Ai applications for the logistics team and create use cases for JR286 Analyze factory freight on board (FOB) origins, prepaid vs collect parcel freight, and oversize boxes Document standard operating procedure (SOP) and create key performance indexes (KPIs) for freight claims filing process Why You’ll Love This Internship: Hands-on experience in real-world supply chain operations Exposure to both business and technical sides of supply planning or transportation Opportunity to work with a collaborative, fast-paced team Direct impact on products from early development to launch

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Must be able to work in-person at JR286 HQ in Torrance, California for 10 weeks
  • Majoring in Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Operations Management, Business Analytics or similar major
  • Intermediate Excel skills – must know how to use pivot tables, lookups, and basic modeling
  • Organized, reliable team player with a growth mindset and interest in supply chain
  • Clear communicator who can summarize insights for cross-functional partners
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solver who is eager to improve processes
