About The Position

This job description reflects potential openings for the Spring 2026 Co-op/Internship Session (January-April). This is a general job description and represents multiple openings in various departments. Honda offers both single and multi-semester co-ops and internships. College students must apply to the requisition pertaining to their major and semester of interest. Honda Co-ops/Interns are tasked with hands-on, project-based work relevant to their department's current needs. Projects may include developing a new test, designing systems, traveling to suppliers, or serving as a project manager. In addition to the full-time associate work, Honda Co-ops/Interns are invited to participate in various paid work events and experiences offered by the Honda Co-op and Internship program team, including Q&A sessions with high-level associates, tours of Honda facilities, social events, and volunteer opportunities.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • General Business Coursework
  • Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
  • Class status- Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program studying Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Ability to secure own transportation to and from work each day

Responsibilities

  • Creating cost management databases and analysis tools using Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Preparing Request-for-Quotes (RFQs) for submission to suppliers
  • Analyzing quotes for accuracy
  • Conducting cost comparisons to standards and targets
