About The Position

Supply Chain Mgmt Analyst (Supply Chain Mgmt Analysis) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic team for a temporary assignment Birmingham, UK for two years then returning to prospective site in US. Tukwila, WA, El Segundo, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Berkeley, MO, San Antonio, TX, Arlington, VA, Ridley Park, PA. “This is a Long-Term Assignment to Birmingham, UK for up to 2 of years of assignment. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.” Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3 : Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain Analyzes complex material requirements Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan Determines part number attributes Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability Ensures on-time delivery Documents and resolves order delinquencies Reports schedule adherence issues Develops and controls inventory plans Optimizes inventory levels Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories Initiates audits Develops and creates schedules for products and services Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance Works under general direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with compass contract and/or SAP experience.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing bill of materials
  • strong understanding of material requirements planning
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
  • “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Birmingham UK, work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
  • Candidates must have or be able to obtain a US Passport and UK Visa.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of SQL experience.
  • Experience in ERP system interfaces (preferably Compass Contract)
  • experience of mastering material item maintenance
