About The Position

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead and optimize supply chain operations for a business unit, ensuring effective material flow, supplier performance, cost control, quality, and on-time delivery while meeting regulatory and customer requirements. This role is responsible for managing key supply chain metrics, driving continuous improvement, and aligning supply chain activities with company strategy and best practices. Location: Brea, CA Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in California. Your challenge: Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while managing supplier performance. Track supplier metrics including on-time delivery, quality, customer service, and lead times. Maintain supplier scorecards and a preferred supplier database. Support program managers by ensuring supplier capacity meets project and production needs. Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, including risk and capacity assessments. Establish inventory stocking strategies and expedite suppliers for critical projects when required. Develop and manage freight policies for inbound and outbound shipments. Ensure compliance with company operating procedures, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Manage supplier corrective actions and non-conformances. Support internal and external audits related to purchasing and supply chain. Provide supply chain data and reporting to management and corporate leadership. Lead and manage supply chain personnel to achieve operational objectives.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience managing suppliers and integrating supply chain with program management and material planning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in a controlled or regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, supply chain analytics, and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
