QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee company-wide supply chain operations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on expertise across supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and compliance. The manager will ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable support for a wide range of Defense systems, equipment, and components. The position is based within the contiguous Franklin, MA area, with potential travel as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. government contracting environments, FAR/DFARS, and compliance frameworks.
  • Participated in a Contractors Purchasing System Review (CPSR)
  • Understand how to write a price analysis and obtain supporting documentation to support the analysis.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, supply chain management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred, particularly in ISR, defense, government, or technology-driven environments.
  • Experience supporting ISR, defense, aerospace, or complex technical programs.
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP or CPSM.
  • Experience with ERP platforms, supply chain optimization, and analytics tools.
  • Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and manage supply chain procurement operations for complex systems, components, and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and mission success.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational objectives, cost targets, and program requirements.
  • Oversee sourcing, acquisition activities to support ISR and defense-related operations.
  • Ensure procurement activities are cost-effective, timely, and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze RFPs, identify potential procurement risks/opportunities. Advise delivery teams and management on business strategies for proposals.
  • Responsible for implementing CPSR procedures and ensure procurement subcontract files are documented per company policy and procedures.
  • Develop sourcing lists for various services to support the development of requests for information (RFIs), quotations (RFQs), proposals (RFPs) and invitations to bid and interview potential suppliers.
  • Cultivate solid business relationships with suppliers to enable advantageous terms and conditions
  • Familiar with proposal support and a proactive leadership commitment
  • Consult with delivery teams to track procurement schedule deadlines, progress, etc.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations, FAR/DFARS, contract terms, and internal policies.
  • Oversee documentation and reporting throughout the supply chain lifecycle.
  • Must be familiar with Contractors Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure performance, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Lead issue resolution and negotiate solutions that minimize risk and disruption on price and terms and conditions
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks impacting cost, schedule, or performance.
  • Develop contingency plans to maintain continuity of operations.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure supply chain performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Champion best practices, automation, and optimization efforts.
  • Partner with program management, engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure integrated supply chain execution.
