About The Position

This individual will report to the Director of Supply Chain Flavors NA. As the Site Supply Chain Manager, this person leads all planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management activities for the site and business. This role ensures the efficient, cost-effective execution of commercial demand while maintaining high levels of customer service, operational reliability, and inventory accuracy. The Supply Chain Manager works cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, and CD&D to deliver an integrated, end-to-end supply chain that supports the company’s strategic objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 years of supply chain or planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with multi-site operations, contract manufacturers, and 3PL management strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience improving systems, processes, and KPIs within supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and Scheduling: Lead site S&OP processes, including meeting facilitation, metric review, capacity alignment, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Work with Production Planner to convert demand, forecast, and commercial priorities into an executable master production schedule.
  • Oversee finite scheduling, capacity analysis, and constraint identification to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Partner with Sales and Planning on formalized forecast review, demand alignment, and KPI tracking.
  • Support product launches, engineering changes, and product transitions to ensure smooth material and production flow.
  • Inventory Management: Own site inventory accuracy, governance, and reconciliation across on-site storage, 3PLs, contract manufacturers, and consignment locations.
  • Lead cycle count program development, execution, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Direct monthly and quarterly reviews of Excess & Obsolete (E&O), Slow-Moving (SLOB), and expired materials; drive corrective action plans.
  • Maintain detailed inventory records and ensure real-time accuracy of all ERP/WMS transactions.
  • Develop preventive strategies for inventory health, material downtime, and stock-out avoidance.
  • Warehouse & Logistics: Oversee shipping, receiving, material handling, staging, and warehouse organization to maintain accurate, efficient material flow.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Manage carrier and transportation performance, including on-time delivery, damage in transit, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain and improve warehouse and logistics KPIs, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with EHS to drive safety, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement within all warehouse operations.
  • Operational Systems & Data Integrity: Serve as site owner for ERP, WMS, MRP, and related supply chain systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy for item attributes, BOMs, routings, planning parameters, and inventory transactions.
  • Partner with Operations IT and cross-functional system owners to improve workflows, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics to improve decision-making and supply chain transparency.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication: Participate in daily production meetings and cross-functional check-ins to ensure alignment on priorities and issue resolution.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Operations, Quality, Procurement, R&D, Transportation, and Commercial teams.
  • Act as supply chain representative for continuous improvement, Performance Excellence, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide timely communication related to production changes, material shortages, customer delays, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop direct reports including planners, warehouse colleagues, material handlers, and inventory control staff.
  • Conduct regular Gemba Walks to engage employees, observe processes, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Set clear expectations, approve timecards, conduct performance reviews, and support employee development plans.
  • Build a strong team through training, cross-training, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Financial & Compliance Responsibilities: Review and approve invoices for ADM, 3PLs, transportation partners, and other supply chain-related vendors.
  • Maintain accurate product costing inputs and support margin analysis as needed.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate compliance, food safety, and quality requirements.
  • Support period-end closing activities related to inventory, production, and material movements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives: Identify and lead initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance service levels.
  • Develop future-state processes and contribute to standardization efforts across sites.
  • Support and justify capital expenditure projects related to capacity, systems, or operational improvements.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring supply chain issues.
