About The Position

The Manager II, Supply Chain leads the deployment, optimization, and ongoing management of Orchid’s Operations Planning processes. This role owns the effective use of M2M to connect demand, capacity, inventory, and supply planning across the organization. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, systems, and execution, this position ensures strong alignment between ERP tools and day-to-day manufacturing operations. You’ll partner closely with Operations, IT, and site leadership to create visibility, consistency, and control across the value chain, turning data into actionable plans and reliable outcomes .

Requirements

  • Bachelor (Required)
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning and Material Requirements Planning Systems (Required)
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, specifically in supply planning, production scheduling, materials management, and logistics (Required)
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Constantly
  • Must be able to move about the inside of the building - Rarely
  • Must be able to communicate and exchange information with others - Constantly
  • Must be able to distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects - Constantly

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor in Business or Supply Chain (Preferred)
  • 4+ Years of experience leading projects, supply chain development, and applying technical business acumen for understanding key levers for efficient supply and inventory management (Preferred)
  • People management experience in customer service and shipping/receiving (Preferred)
  • Experience with ERP System Implementation (Preferred)
  • APICS Certification (Preferred)
  • Contract manufacturing experience in a regulated industry (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain/Operations and IT, leading system issue escalation, enhancements, and deployment.
  • Establish, optimize, and expand the use of M2M (and related systems such as Syteline) for Planning, Scheduling, Capacity Analysis, Demand Management, Order Management, Inventory Management and other Supply Chain functions.
  • Act as subject matter expert for ERP functionality as it relates directly or indirectly to Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Define and maintain optimal inventory levels required to meet targeted service levels.
  • Develop and enforce standards of operation to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with aggressive inventory plans and projects to achieve business targets.
  • Establish and oversee the master scheduling process at the individual site location and globally.
  • Ensure consistent and visible production expectations aligned with long-term supply plans.
  • Develop planning methodologies and tools to support systematic work order and shop floor schedule management.
  • Maintain and enhance capacity models within ERP systems across manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with site teams to create and maintain long-term supply plans using systematic planning tools.
  • Expand the use of system-driven analytics and reporting to improve decision-making.
  • Generate performance metrics for Operations to monitor and control production activities.
  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems through process monitoring and control.
  • Partner cross-functionally with leaders and teams across multiple locations.
  • Communicate complex planning, system, and operational topics clearly to audiences ranging from the shop floor to executive leadership.
