About The Position

Ericsson Smart Factory Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Manager (Local Process Architect) in Lewisville, TX (hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance) who will serve to serves as the engineering subject matter expert for production processes at the USA 5G Smart Factory. What you will do: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance manufacturing systems using Lean Six Sigma principles and data-driven decision-making. Identify and solve core business problems, owning root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CA) processes, and driving improvements in flow efficiency, quality, reliability, and cost. Utilize project management skills to coordinate across departments and ensure timely delivery of process enhancements. Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to develop business cases, optimize operations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Improvement in an electronic manufacturing or high-tech production environment.
  • 2 years of experience to include: 1.Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity in operations using industrial engineering principles. 2. Applying lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, enhance product quality, and minimize downtime. 3. Utilizing statistical analysis and modeling tools to analyze data and drive decisions that improve operational performance. 4. Conducting thorough root cause investigations to identify underlying causes of operational issues, equipment failures, or quality defects. 5. Developing and implementing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence, ensuring sustained improvements in operational performance. 6. Leading cross-functional project teams in the development and execution of initiatives aimed at optimizing operational processes and reducing costs. 7. Applying knowledge of production and warehouse systems to improve manufacturing process design and scalability.
  • OR Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management , Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. And an internship or coursework in each of the following: 1. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity in operations using industrial engineering principles. 2. Applying lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, enhance product quality, and minimize downtime. 3. Utilizing statistical analysis and modeling tools to analyze data and drive decisions that improve operational performance. 4. Conducting thorough root cause investigations to identify underlying causes of operational issues, equipment failures, or quality defects. 5. Developing and implementing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence, ensuring sustained improvements in operational performance. 6. Leading cross-functional project teams in the development and execution of initiatives aimed at optimizing operational processes and reducing costs. 7. Applying knowledge of production and warehouse systems to improve manufacturing process design and scalability.

  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
