About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager at Toray Membrane USA, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • Five to seven years of experience in procurement management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong mathematical background and experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems.
  • Proficiency with integrated inventory and supply management systems.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and independently as a self-starter.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, accounting, or contract management.
  • Strong working knowledge of procurement, scheduling/planning, and invoice processing in an electronic environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the procurement process.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and managerial competencies, including integrity and accountability.
  • Set work objectives, direct, supervise, and review staff assignments.
  • Provide high-level technical and administrative guidance on work requirements and methods.
  • Manage and review procurement documents to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Establish bid standards and prepare procurement documents for soliciting bids and contracts.
  • Identify suppliers that meet contracting and purchasing requirements.
  • Lead negotiations and re-negotiations with suppliers.
  • Maintain positive vendor relations and manage the evaluation of proposals and bids.
  • Ensure suppliers deliver materials and services according to agreed standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain records of supplier meetings.
  • Audit invoices for compliance with contract terms and supervise contract closeout.
  • Maintain records of procurement activities from origination to completion.
  • Make recommendations on policies and procedures for procurement activities.
  • Work with other departments to develop inventory targets and manage production.
  • Analyze risks associated with production plans and maintain finished goods inventory.
