About The Position

Amplifon Americas, parent company to Miracle-Ear and Amplifon Hearing Healthcare, a global world leader in hearing care, has a strong demand for diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic talent for a Supply Chain Manager role. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee and manage complex supplier relationships and performances across North America. You will also build a new logistical support service with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and supporting the operations of all our 1,700+ retail hearing locations throughout the US & Canada. The Supply Chain Manager will manage and govern the operational performance of the direct suppliers driving improvement of their performance across all business units of the organization. Driving operational efficiencies through cost optimization and cost reduction strategies will be critical, ultimately improving the bottom line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Finance/Operations or related business discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain (forecasting, ordering, and inventory management).
  • Proficient in analyzing and forecasting demand on different time horizons.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating an agreement forecast with marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Experience in managing inventory across multiple locations.
  • Experience developing supply chain strategies from strategy to execution.
  • Capacity to manage key suppliers through best-in-class Supplier Relationship Management practices.
  • Experience using tools and capabilities to enhance productivity of supply chain teams.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the collection and analysis of supplier reported information.
  • Manage inventory levels on key products for supply continuity and risk management.
  • Manage inventory across multiple locations to improve working capital and maximize service levels.
  • Drive operational strategies and efficiencies resulting in YOY savings and value generation.
  • Build sound relationships with suppliers to support the organization's goals.
  • Work collaboratively with regional business units to support growth.
  • Manage key suppliers through best-in-class Supplier Relationship Management practices.
  • Create an agreement forecast with marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Build and manage a new S&OP process to gain alignment with business leaders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance against contracted goals.
  • Develop new supplier performance metrics across business units.
  • Ensure timely resolution on supplier quality and service complaints.
