About The Position

Supply Chain Management Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Chain Management Analys to join the 787 Fulfillment Final Assembly Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift. Position Responsibilities: Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions. Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques. Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers. Investigates complex ordering conditions. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Creates complex schedules. Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM. Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies. Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute. Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain procurement and/or warehouse inventory management
  • 1+ years of experience creating, tracking and managing purchase orders, materials demands and shortages
  • 1+ years of experience in demand forecasting based on production scheduling
  • 1+ years of leading improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience working with Electronic Resource Planning (ERPLN)
  • 1+ years of experience working with SAP Ariba (configuration, enhancement, customization, integration)
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Boeing Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) System
  • Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external), and suppliers
  • Experience working in a team environment and communicating clearly with both internal and external customers

Nice To Haves

  • 1 + years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor degree + 2 or more years of related work experience, Masters + 1 years related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • 1+ years of experience using VELOCITY
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace related manufacturing operations or production support
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

  • Summary Pay Range: $74,700 - $91,300
