About The Position

Supply Chain Management Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to join our 787 Structures Supply Chain team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift. Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions. Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques. Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers. Investigates complex ordering conditions. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Creates complex schedules. Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM. Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies. Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute. Works under minimal direction. You will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions as well as apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. This position requires the willingness and ability to travel up to 10%. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel to include handling and analyzing large datasets
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain and inventory management
• 3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data & presenting analysis and recommendations to management
• 3+ years of experience in a position where priorities changed frequently & customer service was critical to the team’s success
• 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers in recovery

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers
• 5+ years of experience with ERPLN and REDARS systems (or similar industry systems)
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace related manufacturing operations or production support
• 5+ years of experience integrating between multiple stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced role with strict deadlines
• Experience working both independently and in team environments

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers to support 787 Program Operations
• Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into the production plan; coordinates part number attributes
• Verifies released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
• Documents and resolves order delinquencies; reports schedule adherence issues
• Applies developed solutions to inventory plans, while analyzing and disposing excess and obsolete inventories, ensuring optimum inventory levels
• Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
• Ensures on-time delivery; creates schedules for products and services
• Coordinates, develops, and implements process improvements such as new ordering methodologies
• Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations
• Demonstrates effective problem solving and time management skills
• Independent, self-motivated, with ability to prioritize critical tasks
