Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate and Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analysts (Level 2 and Level 3) to join our Interior Responsibility Center (IRC) team in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable shift. The Supply Chain Management Analyst will have responsibility across all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
  • Coordinates part number attributes.
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
  • Releases and maintains orders.
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues.
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Creates schedules for products and services.
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • 1+ years of experience with supply chain management analysis or materials management analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience with supply chain forecasting.
  • 1+ years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials.
  • 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product).
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and Advanced Excel (Solver, Pivot tables, VBA, etc.).
