About The Position

The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist at Northrop Grumman plays a crucial role in supporting logistics functions at Robins AFB, GA. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possess or be able to quickly obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.
  • Current U.S. Passport required.
  • Hands-on experience with computer operations and Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Able to obtain a corporate credit card.
  • Willing and able to pass a pre-deployment physical and then a yearly physical.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in CORRIDOR inventory database operations.
  • Airline Logistics experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the logistics function by preparing logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, HAZMAT, and related materials.
  • Track logistics materials, spares, tooling, and HAZMAT for proper allocation of storage facilities.
  • Plan, manage, and track the efficient flow of aircraft parts and support equipment from origin to consumption to meet customer requirements.
  • Execute inventory management in the CORRIDOR computerized database.
  • Communicate effectively with the Procurement Manager regarding status and issues affecting aircraft Contract Logistics Support operations.
  • Conduct material requirements planning to maintain inventory levels in support of deployed aircraft missions.
  • Receive all stock inventory including rotables, consumables, and expendables on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate export/import management for the shipment of aircraft parts and materials necessary for maintenance operations.
  • Prepare and process Jurisdiction/Classification Requests and International Commercial Invoicing activities.
  • Oversee and conduct daily inventory of Northrop Grumman and government furnished tools and monitor calibration due dates.
  • Issue consumables/HAZMAT for aircraft maintenance operations and dispose of them appropriately.
