About The Position
As a Supply Chain & Logistics Intern at ICL Americas LLC, you will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's global end-to-end supply chain operations. This includes exposure to import and export activities, as well as the processes involved in all domestic modes of transportation that support day-to-day operations. You will become proficient in using the Mercurygate TMS platform and other logistics systems, which are essential for managing supply chain activities effectively. In this role, you will also gain familiarity with the procure-to-pay processes, which are crucial for supporting vendor selection and management. You will attain full visibility into supply chain network optimization and integration across all functions of ICL, allowing you to understand how different components of the supply chain work together. Additionally, you will leverage existing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance throughout the supply chain and lead the development of new KPIs to enhance operational efficiency. A key aspect of your internship will involve identifying current manual routines that present opportunities for process streamlining, either through automation or technology-driven solutions. This hands-on experience will not only enhance your analytical and problem-solving skills but also provide you with valuable insights into the logistics and supply chain industry.
