About The Position

SPA Inc., a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Associate to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Supply Chain & Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for scheduling outbound shipments, tracking inbound purchase order WIP, communicating shipment status to customers, reviewing freight invoices, and serving as backup support to the Supply Chain Leader. Requirements

  • High attention to detail
  • 2-4 years logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ERP, TMS, or WMS systems.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate outbound loads with carriers.
  • Confirm pickup and delivery appoints.
  • Track shipments from dispatch through delivery.
  • Proactively resolve delays or service issues.
  • Inbound & WIP Reporting – Monitor inbound purchase orders and work-in-progress status.
  • Maintain accurate WIP and inbound reporting.
  • Communicate delays or schedule changes internally and externally.
  • Provide shipment updates and planned load status.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Proactively communicate risks or delays.
  • Review freight invoices for accuracy vs. contracted rates.
  • Resolve discrepancies with carriers.
  • Approve accurate invoices for payment.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers.
  • Provide backup coverage for the Supply Chain Leader.
  • Assist with freight analysis, reporting, and carrier performance tracking and support continuous improvement initiatives.
