About The Position

Supply Chain/ Logistics Analyst 1 About the business: For more than 34 years, VitalChek has provided an affordable, easy, and reliable way to obtain official government-issued vital records such as birth certificates. VitalChek is an official provider of online services for hundreds of government agencies nationwide, safely delivering millions of important documents every year. About our team: We work closely with our providers, government agencies, to provide world-class customer service and reduce processing times for our customers. About the job: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Is based in the Brentwood TN office. They oversee and manage the flow of all goods between VitalChek, government agencies, and employees. This includes movement, tracking and storage of all equipment and supplies. SCM determines the most efficient and effective end-to-end order fulfillment. They coordinate the activities of different teams within the company to get products to our employees and the government agencies in a timely manner. This ensures all employees and government agencies are productive and supporting our customers. In addition, they are involved in longer-term planning for the company to ensure adequate stock at any given time to meet the demands.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving all goods
  • Tracking and updating inventory (equipment, checks, toners, paper, and UPS supplies)
  • Tagging and scanning all equipment that is received and shipped to employees and government agencies
  • Scheduling UPS pickups and deliveries
  • Setting up new UPS accounts for new customers
  • Coordinating conferences and conventions for the Sales Department
  • Equipment disposal
  • Processing purchase requisitions for all VitalChek’s goods/services
  • Coordinating vendors to repair equipment
  • Brentwood office facilities maintenance assistance
