About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Lead to manage the end-to-end supply chain for our Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation components. This critical operations role will focus on securing and managing suppliers for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), radiation-tolerant (rad-tolerant), and space-ready components required for both the satellite bus and payload. This role will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with external bus manufacturers and contract manufacturers (CMs), ensuring material readiness, and establishing robust supply chain processes to support rate production schedules and overall mission success. This leadership position requires strong operational execution, strategic supplier management, and a deep understanding of commercial and custom silicon components procurement requirements. You should be prepared to work and thrive in a fast moving environment where you are comfortable taking vague requirements and direction and executing on the Logos product mission. We are seeking people who love to solve hard problems, have a bias for action and extreme task ownership.

Requirements

  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior specialist role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex supply chains in the aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing and procuring technical hardware, including electronic components (e.g., COTS, specialized semiconductors, connectors).
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100 or ISO 9001) and associated supplier quality requirements.
  • Experience working with high volume contract manufacturers
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills - We are looking for leaders

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, MBA).
  • Direct experience managing the supply chain for space-flight hardware, including knowledge of radiation-tolerant or space-qualified component standards and suppliers.
  • Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and external strategic partners for complex system assembly (e.g., satellite buses).
  • Fluency in implementing and managing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for procurement, planning, and inventory control.
  • Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
  • Proven negotiation skills for large-volume, high-value, and long-term strategic contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy tailored to the unique demands of LEO satellite production, focusing on risk mitigation, cost control, and schedule adherence.
  • Lead supplier identification, qualification, and selection process for critical components (COTS, rad-tolerant, and space-qualified) for satellite bus and payload systems.
  • Negotiate procurement agreements, long-term supply contracts, and with key domestic and international suppliers and partners.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain health, supplier performance, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management teams to define material requirements, manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensure component specifications meet flight hardware standards.
  • Own the material readiness plan, driving timely component sourcing and delivery to support contract manufacturer and external bus partner build schedules.
  • Manage inventory levels and material flow optimization to prevent shortages, reduce lead times, and support high-rate production demands.
  • Implement robust supply chain risk management strategies, including identifying sole-source risks, qualifying alternative sources, and managing obsolescence plans.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of components, ensuring compliance with export control regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR) where applicable.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain interface with external satellite bus partners and contract manufacturers (CMs).
  • Collaborate with CMs to integrate company supply chain strategies into their production processes, ensuring alignment on forecasting, scheduling, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits, driving continuous improvement in quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on make-versus-buy decisions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
