About The Position

The Supply Chain Lead is responsible for overseeing procurement activities across multiple facilities, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for various projects. This role involves developing best practices, maintaining vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts to optimize procurement processes and costs.

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain management or procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop vendor relationships.
• Understanding of job quoting processes and profit margins.
• Ability to analyze procurement issues and implement solutions.
• Familiarity with contract management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, coordinate, and ensure compliance with best practices in the procurement process.
• Establish and improve internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Proactively resolve procurement issues and remove barriers that may interfere with success.
• Collaborate with RAM operations management teams to procure all goods and services at the best price for timely delivery.
• Assess job scopes and provide suggestions for procurement.
• Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
• Monitor the status of open purchase orders, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
• Develop new vendor relationships, reviewing qualifications, licensing, and insurance requirements.
• Develop/maintain supplier contracts, reviewing and providing recommendations/modifications as needed.
• Negotiate with customers, to secure the best possible price and service guarantee.
• Maintain necessary records, monitor supplier performance, and recommend actions to meet organization requirements.
• Monitor approval of vendor/subcontractor accounts.
• Complete other job duties as assigned by management.
