About The Position
The Supply Chain Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the North American Manufacturing operations of Adient, a global leader in automotive seating. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a central planning team, where the intern will be involved in managing both domestic and international supply bases. The intern will be responsible for monitoring Supplier Delivery Performance and ensuring adherence to Master Data Management (MDM) activities. Participation in Demand and Supply Plan reviews will be a key aspect of the role, allowing the intern to understand the intricacies of supply chain management in a manufacturing environment. In addition to these responsibilities, the intern will support capacity studies and report on Supply Plan Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Supplier Management. Collaboration will be essential, as the intern will work closely with the Purchasing, Supply Chain Execution Team, Supply Chain Planning Team, and Operations to maintain a steady supply of raw materials. The role also emphasizes the importance of standardization across the region and requires the intern to perform various analyses as needed.
