About The Position

The AEC intern program is designed to provide firsthand working knowledge of manufacturing and business activities at AEC. The candidate will develop valuable problem-solving skills while assisting with the support of existing programs as well as the development of new products and processes. Job Purpose This role will be providing support for planning and supply chain activities required for daily execution of Production and Inventory Control operations.

Requirements

• A candidate for Supply Chain Intern is expected to have completed at least two years (three years preferred) toward a BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field with a GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred.)
• Team and people skills that are required to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Problem solving skills.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Effective communication.
• Well organized and disciplined.
• Able to identify problems and willing to make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the release and printing of work orders to support weekly production targets
• Assist in creation of weekly reports and monitoring of work in process
• Participate in quarterly audits of work in process and cycle counting as needed
• Assist with the printing and assembly of warp packages
• Perform various other projects/assignments, as directed.
• Assist with assigned projects and process improvements
• Create Excel and Powerpoint presentations
