About The Position

This Supply Chain Management Intern will be introduced to Planning, with responsibilities including large project planning, expediting, and stakeholder communications. Key projects include: Tackling Slow Moving Obsolete Parts (SLOB) and standardizing SKU optimization.The Supply Chain Management intern will support the Supply Chain Department by assisting with regular inventory counts and help ensure the accuracy of physical stock. The intern will support the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and help identify root cause of any variances. They will manage inventory exceptions, including identifying and resolving issues related to overages, shortages, and damaged goods. This position will work closely with the warehouse and operation teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce stock-outs or overstock situations at the market level. Requirements

  • Majors: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop in the supply chain field
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and identifying areas for improvement
