About The Position

RWC is a market leader and manufacturer of water solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. RWC's portfolio of brands includes industry-leading brands: SharkBite® Push-to-Connect plumbing solutions; HoldRite® engineered plumbing and mechanical solutions; Cash Acme® control valves; John Guest® fittings and fluid dispense products and and EZ-FLO™ and Eastman™ appliance connectors, supply lines, stop valves and gas connectors. RWC is building a cohort of interns for the Summer of 2025. This will be a challenging opportunity to build skills in your field and create connections with RWC and peers from other Universities. This intern position is responsible for project management related to supply chain disruption and tariff mitigation. From validation of master data to country of origin (COO), HTS codes and resourcing goods, the intern will work with data and projects to minimize disruption to RWC operations. This role is cross functional working with Supply Chain Master Data Management, Fulfillment, Warehouse Operations, Engineering and Product Management.

Requirements

  • Understanding of master data processes, standards, data governance and data quality concepts.
  • Knowledge of SAP Material Master Data and how data is used in business.
  • Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong inter-personal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, merging data sets, import/export of data).
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and take ownership for prioritizing workloads.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a distribution center / warehouse operations environment.
  • Forklift experience (will train and certify to drive and operate forklift in DC).

Responsibilities

  • Validate data to ensure the weights and dimensional data integrity is loaded in preparation of new SAP functionality.
  • Perform UPC/Barcode validation by scanning barcodes on each packaging level of product to validate system information.
  • Provide any required updates to Master Data team to load after validation.
  • Create a database for UPC/Barcode labeling for products without a printed barcode on packaging.
  • Work with DC Leadership to design labels to be printed for DC on items without barcodes.
  • Review HTS codes and COO designation for updates or assignments due to tariff mitigation.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
