About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and supplier relations. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operations and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Martinrea Riverside is a manufacturing plant in Riverside, MO that specializes in industrial and automotive manufacturing. Processes include assembly, welding, machining, robotics. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory tracking, analysis, and reporting.
• Support purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders and tracking supplier performance.
• Help coordinate logistics, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
• Participate in supplier communications and relationship management.
• Support the team in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal use.
• Assist with ERP/MRP system updates and data accuracy checks.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to align supply chain needs.
