About The Position

This is a hybrid role that can be based in either Harrisburg, PA or Tampa, FL. The internship is a 12-13 week program running from mid/late May to mid/late August. D&H is a 100+ year old Employee-Owned technology distributor, offering end-to-end solutions for today's resellers, retailers, and the clients they serve across the SMB and Consumer markets. We are looking for a Supply Chain Services Intern to support our Supply Chain Services Department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program.
• 3rd or 4th year students in business related major preferred.
• Supply chain or logistics major is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and other in-house programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages client orders and purchasing demand.
• Consults purchasing team on inventory recommendations.
• Manages and oversees client order processing.
• Daily customer reporting—shipping, receiving, inventory reports.
• Daily order processing for overnight orders.
• Manage emails and participate in customer and internal calls—answer questions, provide information, and resolve issues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
