This internship offers hands‑on exposure to daily purchasing activities that support manufacturing operations. The intern will work closely with buyers, planners, and suppliers to help ensure materials and components arrive on time and meet production requirements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
• Organized, curious, and eager to learn within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams, including planning, operations, engineering, and finance

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, and track purchase orders for materials, components, and services.
• Communicate with suppliers to request information, confirm order details, and follow up on delivery status.
• Maintain accurate procurement data, including lead times, within the Epicor ERP system.
• Review order confirmations, packing slips, and invoices to assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Support supplier performance tracking by gathering data and preparing routine reports.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
