The Supply Chain Engineer supports inbound and outbound distribution operations, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence to deliver products safely and efficiently to customers. Your role: You will oversee daily inbound and outbound distribution center activities, prioritize tasks and resolve operational exceptions such as overdue Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), over- and under-deliveries, Proof of Delivery (POD) delays, and customer complaints. You will work under general supervision while ensuring operational continuity and patient safety. You will ensure warehouse execution (receiving, storage, handling, picking and packing) is performed efficiently and in full compliance with defined quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal, and trade compliance standards. You will safeguard master data and transactional data accuracy across SAP, Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Logistics Service Provider interfaces. You will conduct daily interface checks between SAP, Transportation Management Systems, and external Logistics Service Provider systems, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment of stock levels between SAP and Warehouse Management Systems through regular audits and reconciliations. You will prepare and maintain transportation capacity plans for finished products, validate transport availability against customer demand and promised delivery dates, and adjust long-term schedules to optimize efficiency and service levels. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing root causes of operational exceptions, contributing to new control system implementations, enhancing planning procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve distribution performance. You’re the right fit if: You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Operations, or Physical Distribution (individual contributor role); OR 4+ years of experience in these areas with Vocational Education/High School Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent. Your skills include knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), master data governance, inventory reconciliation, transportation planning, root cause analysis, and exception management. Experience working with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and cross-functional operational teams is considered a plus. You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field; OR Vocational Education/High School Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in PA is $63,000 to $100,800 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
