About The Position

The Supply Chain Director at GDIT is responsible for overseeing the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Team, which includes managing three teams focused on the compliant negotiation and procurement of software solutions. This role involves mentoring team members, driving strategic analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving cost savings while maintaining high standards of procurement processes. The position is hybrid, allowing for partial remote work, and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to execute high-visibility projects effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (6+ years) in supply chain management or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in commercial or FAR regulated supply chain, with at least 3 years in government contracting or software procurement.
• In-depth knowledge of direct procurement requirements and complex agreement negotiations.
• Experience in conducting RFPs, developing strategic sourcing approaches, and performing process improvements.
• Strong negotiation skills in the IT space, including EULAs and pricing negotiations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills at all company levels.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with End User License Agreement (EULA) negotiations.
• Knowledge of cloud supplier offerings.
• Project management experience with strategic RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurements for government programs and internal customers.
• Identify and improve sourcing and procurement processes.
