About the position

Darigold is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join the Bulk Milk Hauling team, responsible for managing milk pickups from over 300 dairy farms and inter-facility movements between over 60 manufacturing plants. This role focuses on data mining, cleansing, and reporting to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in supply chain operations. The analyst will lead projects from discovery through delivery, providing ongoing support to internal customers and enhancing dashboards to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data mining to identify and standardize new data sources.
  • Collaborate with the IT Business Intelligence team to test datasets and define specifications for reporting.
  • Provide data profiling and propose cleaning methods for datasets.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards to meet customer expectations.
  • Extract and cleanse data from various databases, performing exploratory data analysis.
  • Employ scaling and automation techniques for data preparation.
  • Understand business initiatives and serve as the primary analytic resource for business partners.
  • Promote the value of advanced analytics to solve business problems.
  • Prepare and disseminate monthly reports to support operations and finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent work history.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations (Transportation, Planning, Inventory) support.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing field in an analytical or planning role preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or developer tools.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another data visualization tool preferred.
  • Familiarity with VBA and writing Macros preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal supply chain customers to determine reporting needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills and comfort with VBA.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel at an expert level.
  • Comfort with one or more analytical programming languages: R, Python, etc.
