About The Position

The position involves working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. The essential functions include using available resources and strong judgment to determine the best course of action while interacting with customers through various communication channels. The role serves as a knowledgeable resource to customers, delivering accurate and efficient information to resolve issues and help define product/project needs. The individual strives to be the single point of contact for various requests, including order placement, product sourcing, and shipment tracking. Responsibilities also include escalating customer concerns to the Supply Chain Customer Experience Supervisor, multitasking efficiently, connecting with customers on a personal level, leveraging problem-solving skills, and following up to ensure all order and project requirements are met. Continuous learning and providing feedback for process improvement are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 years’ experience in a call center, office administration, high volume retail, service support, or similar work environment.
  • Experience processing specialty orders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to stay calm with customers seeking resolution.
