About The Position

Performs duties related to the movement of materials, mail, lab specimens, medical records, supplies and linens within Prisma Health facilities in keeping with predetermined schedules. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent or post-high school diploma / highest degree earned preferred.
• A valid driver’s license; an acceptable motor vehicle record, as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart; and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Operates courier vehicle/truck in accordance with written policies/procedures, state and local laws.
• Transports materials between facilities in a timely manner as scheduled according to daily schedule.
• Responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles to include gas, oil, air, and etc.
• Reports service and repair requirements to Supervisor.
• Loads and unloads material transported and delivers to designated area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
