About The Position

The position involves performing duties related to the movement of materials, mail, lab specimens, medical records, supplies, and linens within Prisma Health facilities, adhering to predetermined schedules. The role includes operating a courier vehicle/truck in compliance with written policies and state and local laws, ensuring timely transportation of materials between facilities as per the daily schedule. Additionally, the position requires routine maintenance of vehicles, including checking gas, oil, and air, and reporting any service or repair needs to the supervisor. The individual will also be responsible for loading and unloading materials and delivering them to designated areas, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record as defined by the MVR Chart.
• Proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Operate courier vehicle/truck according to policies and laws.
• Transport materials between facilities as scheduled.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
• Report service and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Load and unload materials for delivery.
• Deliver materials to designated areas.
• Perform other assigned duties.
