About The Position

Ocean Spray is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage plant supply chain activities, including raw and packaging materials planning, inventory accuracy, and production scheduling. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and operational excellence within the plant environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years distribution experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Solid communication skills, including the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure accuracy of information and entry.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience working with computerized inventory systems.

Responsibilities

  • Execute materials planning and expedite processes for raw and packaging materials.
  • Facilitate inventory record accuracy.
  • Receive all materials and ensure they meet demand plans while maintaining low inventory levels.
  • Execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all lines and oversee its execution.
  • Administer distribution systems, inventory management, transportation, and pallet management.
  • Cross-train staff in functional areas to promote operational excellence.
  • Support and promote food safety and quality program initiatives.
