About The Position

Responsibilities include analyzing inventory and usage levels, managing customer communication, and ensuring optimal customer service standards are met. The position also involves inspecting, receiving, and unpacking shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and reporting shortages and damaged products. Additionally, the role includes managing product returns, participating in physical inventory, and achieving quality expectations related to regulatory compliance. The individual will be responsible for supply ordering, inventory management of specials, and ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained while communicating with customers regarding stocking and product changes. The position requires executing operational aspects to assure financially responsible supply levels and benchmarking performance measures to track trends and needs for improvement. Regulatory compliance is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring staff adherence to department, hospital, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in Supply Chain or a combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and skill required to perform the job duties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school.

  • Transfer and transport supplies and equipment to designated inventory locations.
  • Oversee receiving issue resolution, exception management, and product returns.
  • Participate in physical inventory and achieve quality expectations for regulatory compliance.
  • Order supplies for defined areas and manage inventory of non-standard items.
  • Coordinate back orders and transfers from other areas or hospitals.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels and communicate with customers regarding products and deliveries.
  • Execute operational aspects to maintain financially responsible supply levels.
  • Benchmark performance measures to track trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with department, hospital, state, and federal regulations.
