About The Position

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of supplies and equipment necessary for critical surgical procedures. This full-time position requires collaboration in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of medical supply management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in a supply chain setting: procurement, purchasing, receiving, distribution required.
• Two years of experience working in healthcare required, hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• Certification in supply chain management preferred (APICS CPIM or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Warehouse, and ASC teams.
• Train staff, troubleshoot issues, and host collaborative meetings.
• Maintain inventory principles, ensure proper storage and handling, conduct inventory counts, and uphold regulatory standards.
• Utilize inventory management software to track usage, forecast needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and manage KPIs for inventory management.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels, manage incoming goods, and address product recalls and backorders.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to medical supply chain management.
