About The Position

This role partners across the organization to strategically define, manage, and optimize corporate spend categories. You will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive long-term value and operational excellence. As a key leader in the supply chain, you will guide cross-functional teams through end-to-end strategic sourcing processes aligned with overall business objectives. You will shape and manage robust supply networks for critical materials and services supporting major initiatives. You will evaluate supplier capabilities and performance to identify opportunities for improvement, development, and alignment with category strategies, ensuring a high-performing, resilient supplier base that supports innovation, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
  • Advanced supply chain background with a minimum of 8 years related strategic sourcing (goods or services) and contract administration experience required.
  • Strategic sourcing proficiency including strategy development, negotiation, and implementation skills.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience involving negotiation, purchasing, administering, and managing contracts, and contract claim resolution is desirable.
  • Strong business process, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel sourcing initiatives involving a high level of complexity and risk.
  • Results oriented with strong ‘fact-based’ analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and group facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate at senior levels.
  • Experience with capital project supply chain management; understanding of capital budgeting
  • Broad knowledge of contracting strategies and principles for a wide range of services and energy commodities desirable.
  • Work assignments require general knowledge of the electric and natural gas industries, construction contracting, communications, and/or computer-based services.
