About The Position

The Supply Chain Business Analyst plays a key role in analyzing, improving, and optimizing the supply chain operations and processes of the organization. This position is responsible for gathering and interpreting data, identifying trends, creating reports, and working cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives for the Planning Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations, or related field.
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to monitor key supply chain performance metrics (e.g., inventory levels and turns, order fulfillment, forecast accuracy), identify inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in procurement, logistics, planning, and IT to align data insights with business needs and operational goals.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, KPI reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Gather requirements for new processes or system enhancements and assist in implementing supply chain tools or ERP modules. Serve as key user for ERP related needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in supply chain systems and drive continuous improvements.
  • Apply consistent standard operating procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work with IT or developers to automate reports and streamline data flows when possible.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements affecting the supply chain.
  • Assist in other areas, as needed.
