About The Position

We are looking for a Production/Blending Coordinator to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus. Come create chemistry with us! Our Supply Chain Team is seeking a Production/Blending Coordinator to join our Attapulgus, GA facility. This role also involves supporting our other manufacturing sites and affiliated warehouses in a similar capacity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing / research and development / quality environment required.
  • Experience in the Refining Industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with focus on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge or proficiency with SAP PPM, MS Office, and other CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing personal accountability and maintaining a strong focus on safety for all members of the Logistics Department.
  • Ensuring that management safety behaviors and objectives are consistently met.
  • Monitoring inventories of all component materials to maintain adequate levels for blending activities.
  • Communicating and escalating any availability issues to Material Planners, Production Planners, and supervisors as needed.
  • Leading and coordinating blending activities at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Ensuring that blend compositions account for quality variances, component availability issues, and logistical requirements within the shipping schedule.
  • Issuing daily work instructions detailing blending and shipping plans, and providing off-shift guidance for shift coordinators and operators.
