About The Position

The Supply Chain Associate at Sentara Healthcare is responsible for managing and transforming the inventory and logistics of Hospital Warehouse Docks. This role involves overseeing supply inventory management, warehouse operations, product receiving and shipping, record keeping, order fulfillment, and materials transportation. The associate will work to optimize logistics and ensure continuous improvement while providing data and insights to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in inventory and logistics management roles.
• Experience in optimization of inventory/logistics/materials management is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage inventory and logistics for Hospital Warehouse Docks.
• Oversee supply inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Handle product receiving, shipping, and record keeping.
• Fulfill orders and manage materials transportation.
• Optimize logistics and facilitate cycle counts.
• Measure inventory and ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide data and information to superiors for decision making.
