About The Position

As a Supply Chain Associate at IDEXX’s Memphis Distribution Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring inbound product is safely, accurately, and efficiently received and stored within the warehouse. This is a hands-on, physically active position focused primarily on put‑away operations, using powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move product from the dock to designated storage locations. This role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently for much of the shift. You will be cross‑trained in receiving and other warehouse functions, supporting a flexible and collaborative distribution operation while maintaining IDEXX’s high standards for accuracy, quality, and safety. Shift Schedule: 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday What You Can Expect in This Role Perform put‑away operations for inbound product, ensuring materials are stored in the correct warehouse locations. Operate multiple types of powered industrial equipment (PIT), including order pickers, dock stockers, and reach trucks. Safely transport product from receiving docks to racking and storage areas. Double‑check locations, item numbers, and quantities—attention to detail is essential, as some packages may appear similar. Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines, with a strong focus on working carefully and not cutting corners. Work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Support receiving operations, including unloading, staging, and verification of inbound shipments. Accurately record inventory movements and transactions using RF scanners and SAP. Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Participate in cross‑training to support other warehouse functions as needed. What You Need to Succeed High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse or distribution experience required. Forklift/PIT experience required, with demonstrated ability to operate multiple vehicle types (order picker, dock stocker, reach truck). Strong attention to detail, including accurate location placement and product verification. Commitment to safety and quality, with the ability to follow procedures consistently. Experience using RF scanners required. Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 40–50 lbs. Comfort working in a warehouse environment, including cold room and freezer areas as needed. Familiarity with SAP and basic computer systems preferred. Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and ability to manage tasks independently. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team. In this role, you may be occasionally asked to perform physical activities such as standing for 2hr+, sitting, computer and phone use, extended reach, occasional lifting up to 70lb, and kneeling or bending. Specific vision requirements may include close range, color perception, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
