About The Position

The Supply Chain and Procurement Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the Freestyle product line within the Ultrasound team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing supply chain processes, procurement strategies, and order management to ensure efficient product delivery and continuous improvement. The position is hybrid, primarily based in Plymouth Meeting, PA, and reports to the Senior Director of Global Planning and Procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • 6 - 8 years of leadership experience in supply chain planning, procurement, and order management in a manufacturing environment, ideally in medical devices.
  • Professional Supply Chain certifications desired (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or related MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supply chain planning for the Freestyle product line, ensuring seamless coordination from order processing to delivery.
  • Allocate resources, manage inventory, and optimize stock levels for Freestyle related materials and components.
  • Execute procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships for the Freestyle product line.
  • Support the product life cycle management process, including new product introductions and end of life planning.
  • Lead the order management process for the Plymouth Meeting factory, including the development of PB booking rules.
  • Manage the generation of work orders for CSML and production materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
  • Lead annual cost roll activities, updating standard costs and ensuring accurate cost estimates.
  • Oversee inventory control, including cycle counting and material transitions from engineering to production.
