About The Position

The Supply Chain Planning Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end planning process across supply chain and operations for clients. This role focuses on ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving efficiency, and implementing integrated planning strategies that enhance supply chain performance. The manager will work closely with clients to develop and implement strategies for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management, while also addressing risks and improving operational processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working on Integrated Planning initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in industries such as Hi-Tech, Software & Platforms, Semi-Conductor, Life Sciences, Industrial, Chemicals, Consumer Goods & Services, Retail, and Travel Services.
  • Minimum of 5 years external experience at a consulting firm or 8 years of internal consulting experience in a role equivalent to Manager level.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep specialization in Demand Forecasting, S&OP, S&OE, Inventory Planning.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience overseeing complex programs.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Functional-level understanding of integrated planning technology solutions (e.g., IBP, O9, OMP, Kinaxis).
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
  • Experience using data analytics tools for improvement insights.
  • Prior experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated planning strategies for clients that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead S&OP planning including demand review, supply review, and executive S&OP reviews.
  • Develop demand and supply planning processes including forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Enable strategic and tactical plans developed during the S&OP process across the supply chain.
  • Develop inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance and develop action plans to address gaps.
  • Develop governance and operating models across sales, marketing, production, and logistics.
  • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on planning performance.
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide insights into supply chain performance through data analysis and reporting.
