Peraton is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst. In this role the selected person will perform the following, but limited to: Confirming material supply, on order, delivery dates; obtaining order confirmations and ETA for all purchase orders, monitoring open POs, and resolving issues; coordinating with suppliers to track and update delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services; maintaining and updating the purchasing database and records in ERP system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information; assisting in resolving any supplier-related issues or discrepancies, such as quality control or invoice discrepancies; processing credit card orders and maintaining PCARD file(s); issuing NDAs as required and maintaining the files; providing data to Production Scheduler/Production for any order that develops high risks; providing scheduled due dates for incoming orders and lead time estimates for quotes, as necessary; advising of issues to the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed; communicating interdepartmental order information with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; scheduling and expediting the movement of parts; collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as the warehouse and finance departments, to coordinate the receipt and payment of goods; supporting the implementation and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures; assisting in monitoring and coordinating material needs with production and warehouse; may order and maintain office supplies; developing and implementing supply chain strategies and networks in support of programs, new business opportunities and proposals; responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support program planning and operations; analyzing production planning, material procurement, inventory control, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection and retention, expediting, analyzing, and distribution; may negotiate with third party providers; working with other departments as well as with distributors, transporters, storage facilities, and suppliers; assuming other tasks or projects as needed.
