Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in the HVAC industry or a similar industry.
  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Works with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses operations processes, using that data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Works with all groups on consuming slow-moving or obsolete inventory items.
  • Develops and maintains a supply chain mapping system with written procedures for each group.
  • Creates performance reports for management to review.
  • Investigates pain points within the process and develops solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies.
  • Documents and maintains tracking logs and inventory databases of incoming materials.
  • Builds and creates cost management spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Coordinates with development and engineering teams to provide cost estimates and reports.
  • Analyzes business and engineering processes to make recommendations for changes.
  • Performs special research or technical studies critical to logistics support functions.
  • Travels, when necessary, to AAON locations for improvement processes.
