About The Position

This position is recognized as a subject matter expert, working closely with business users to implement key solutions. The role is responsible for navigating data and transforming it into actionable information to deliver affordable, valued patient care and services. The analyst will actively identify business problems and recommend solutions, understanding how data supports and enables key business processes. This individual will consult with business leaders, providing support in the development, analysis, interpretation, and management of complex internal and external data sources. The role requires expertise in quantitative analysis and healthcare processes, preparing reports, providing analytical commentary, and educating on analytical concepts. The analyst should possess in-depth business knowledge and a drive to deliver value-add insights, assisting with integrating analytics across the digital supply chain and utilizing critical thinking for data-driven recommendations.

  • Experience with supply chain systems and tools and the knowledge to utilize them according to the needs of the organization.
  • Ability to make suggestions on the design and application of technology and data.
  • Ability to use advanced analytic, business intelligence, and visualization tools to synthesize and communicate information.
  • Ability to manage the delivery of small to mid-level projects using current project management techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in working with others on supply chain management projects.
  • Ability to use project management approaches when completing own tasks.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality improvement plans that include cost/benefit analysis.
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies to reduce cost and improve quality.
  • Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies stakeholders and builds appropriate relationships, dealing with stakeholder planning and daily interactions.
  • Assesses sources of supply and costs using detailed supply chain costing approaches, reducing total cost and/or risk while promoting sustainability, innovation, and quality throughout the supply chain.
  • Works in a cross-functional team to provide analytic support for senior managers and directors, collaborating with stakeholders to establish KPIs for the network.
  • Applies expertise in data analysis methods and knowledge of supply chain data types, topics, and approaches.
  • Develops and expands business reporting to make tactical decisions and identify opportunities and threats.
  • Utilizes experience with supply chain systems and tools according to organizational needs.
  • Makes suggestions on the design and application of technology and data, using advanced analytic, business intelligence, and visualization tools to synthesize and communicate information.
  • Manages the delivery of small to mid-level projects using current project management techniques.
  • Gains hands-on experience in working with others on supply chain management projects and uses project management approaches for personal tasks.
