About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical strategic role in driving end-to-end supply chain performance, resilience, and cost optimization. This position leads advanced analytics initiatives across demand planning, supply planning, sourcing, inventory optimization, and logistics, developing predictive and prescriptive models to guide data-driven decision-making and shape enterprise supply strategies. The role partners closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Commercial teams, and external suppliers to ensure data integrity, align stakeholders, and deliver executive-ready insights that improve service levels, reduce total cost, and strengthen supply continuity. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional with strong business acumen, advanced technical expertise, and a proven ability to influence outcomes at the organizational level, operating effectively within a global, matrixed environment that includes collaboration with international manufacturing facilities in Germany, Mexico, and China.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field OR 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or analytics.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Working proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar analytical and programming environments.
  • Proven experience supporting or leading S&OP, forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply planning activities.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex analytics into executive-level recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree and/or professional certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma Green Belt or higher).
  • Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, Blue Yonder).
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or complex multi-node supply chain environments.
  • Experience with automation and analytics tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, or KNIME.
  • Exposure to contract manufacturing and industrial automation.
  • Comfortable working in global, matrixed environments with international sourcing or supplier networks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex analytical models, including predictive and prescriptive analytics for demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Design executive-level dashboards and KPIs; translate large, complex datasets into concise, actionable insights.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses (e.g., cost-to-serve, capacity modeling, transportation optimization, supplier risk assessments).
  • Lead root-cause analysis for chronic performance gaps and drive corrective actions to sustainable resolution.
  • Own the development of accurate, statistically driven demand forecasts utilizing advanced forecasting techniques.
  • Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies that balance service levels, working capital, and total cost.
  • Conduct service-risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies across suppliers, products, and regions.
  • Lead analytics supporting S&OP and provide insights to enable executive-level trade-off decisions.
  • Perform in-depth supplier performance, cost, and total landed cost analyses to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Develop cost-modeling tools to support bid evaluations, negotiations, and market benchmarking.
  • Lead the design and governance of supplier scorecards to improve accountability, reliability, and performance.
  • Act as the analytical lead on cross-functional initiatives spanning Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, Six Sigma, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Lead or support the implementation of digital tools, data platforms, and ERP or planning system enhancements.
  • Analyze freight spend, routing efficiency, capacity utilization, and logistics performance metrics.
  • Conduct network optimization studies to support footprint strategy, warehouse placement, and inventory flow decisions.
  • Develop cost-to-serve models and recommend actions to improve profitability and customer experience.
