SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST Key Responsibilities Planning, Analytics & Performance Management Develop, analyze, and maintain supply chain performance dashboards and KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis. Monitor demand, supply, and inventory trends; identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Support demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP/IBP processes through advanced analytics and reporting. Provide ad hoc analysis and business insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Process Improvement & Project Support Lead and support small to medium-scale improvement initiatives focused on planning, forecasting, data quality, and operational efficiency. Document current and future-state business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Identify opportunities for process automation, standardization, and optimization. Support system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. Systems & Data Management Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define functional requirements and support solution development. Maintain master data and planning parameters to ensure system accuracy and integrity. Support integration and optimization of ERP, planning, and reporting platforms. Ensure data governance and reporting consistency across supply chain systems. Inventory, Warehousing & Distribution Support Support warehouse replenishment, internal transfers, and order fulfillment planning. Analyze inventory positioning, safety stock, and service level performance. Identify slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory risks and recommend corrective actions. Support network optimization and distribution efficiency initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, and Finance teams. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations. Present insights and improvement proposals to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide ongoing operational and analytical support to planning and operations teams. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Service Level / OTIF Inventory Turns / Days of Inventory Data Accuracy and Timeliness Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Information Systems, Business, or related field (required) Masters degree or MBA (preferred) Experience 1-2 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment required Experience supporting system development or process improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT Exposure to S&OP / IBP processes preferred Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of SQL, Access, Power BI, and/or Python Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., AS400, Sage, Blue Ridge, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar) Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau) Understanding of MRP, DRP, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization concepts Preferred Qualifications System implementation or upgrade experience Advanced data modeling and automation experience Certification in supply chain or analytics (APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or similar) Core Competencies & Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, continuous improvement mindset Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
