About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team located in Irving, Texas. The Supply Chain Analyst supports supply chain planning and performance management by providing analytical insight into inventory health, planning effectiveness, and policy adherence across the supply chain network. This role focuses on inventory positioning, safety stock effectiveness, demand and supply alignment, and plan adherence to enable disciplined planning and proactive decision-making. We Offer You! Monitor compliance with inventory policies and planning parameters. Maintain dashboards and reports on inventory coverage, turns, and service performance. Identify gaps between target and actual inventory and flag risks or opportunities. Provide analysis on demand variability, supply constraints, and inventory buffers. Track plan adherence and identify causes of deviations. Support root‑cause analysis for stockouts, excess, and imbalances. Align planning signals with execution by partnering with SIOP Analysts and Schedulers. Other duties as assigned. Your Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field required. 3 to 6 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, supply chain analytics, or operations support. Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards required. Experience working in or supporting distribution center operations preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and ERP platforms. Strong collaboration skills and continuous improvement mindset. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 with bonus potential. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field required.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, supply chain analytics, or operations support.
