The Supply Chain Analyst Lead provides leadership and direction while measuring, analyzing and informing supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Specialist in logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in- time, materials requirement planning); broad range of computer skills— database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages; understand contracts and tariffs.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain best practices and barriers to implementation.
  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of the value chain.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and direction in group while measuring, analyzing and informing supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors.
  • Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Works closely with functions across the supply chain including Sourcing, Production, Supply Chain Planning, Production Control, Logistics, Distribution, Engineering, Finance, Sales and Operations Planning.
  • Analyzes raw material plans and models supply based scenarios.
  • Calculates safety stock and optimizes including advanced statistical functions.
  • Sets up and maintains Vendor Managed Inventory.
  • Sets up and maintains Kanban-based replenishment loops.
